Frequent Questions

Frequently asked questions about Rapid Release and working with Jodie…

Q: How long does it take?

A: A single session can take anywhere from 20 minutes to a full hour of one's time.

Q: How many sessions do we need?

A: Generally, a single topic can be addressed in a single session.

Q: Are in-person sessions available?

A: At this point in time, I do not offer in-person sessions, although I might consider offering them in the future.

Q: How does Rapid Release succeed remotely?

A: As long as there is clear communication being exchanged, I am able to run the Rapid Release protocol. The remote delivery of Rapid Release can enhance accessibility and convenience for clients, removing barriers such as travel time, geographical limitations, and scheduling conflicts. People can be supported from the comfort and privacy of their own homes — increasing willingness to engage in the process by enhancing their sense of safety.

Q: How are you able to release trauma without needing to hear the whole story?

A: Instead of reliving the experience for long periods of time, the pique moment is pin-pointed and processed within a short period of time. If the situation and emotional charge is not fully processed, we uncover if there are other major moments of impact, pin-point those, and repeat the process efficiently until all are drained.

Q: What age range are you recommending for Rapid Release?

A: I look for levels of cognition and maturity across a specific age range. As long as someone is able to communicate their emotional state, thoughts, the images arising in their minds, and label body sensations, they have the potential to heal from Rapid Release.

Q: Can parents or adults be present with our teens or young adults during the sessions?

A: I determine my approach for teens on an individual basis. As with anyone else, if teenagers feel they cannot speak openly and authentically, the process won't work to its full potency and efficiency.

Q: Can the entire family be treated together?

A: Absolutely. Parents, your child “of focus”, and any additional siblings can all receive sessions for whatever distress or disorienting states they are experiencing individually. An entire family can benefit from receiving Rapid Release as it offers a holistic approach to healing. For example, parents can receive Rapid Release to relieve their own stress and anxiety, which in turn allows them to provide better support and stability for their children.
